  • Report on Circumstances of the COVID-19 State of Emergency 
    • Receive and file the following:
      • An update that the State and County remain under a proclaimed state of emergency related to COVID-19; and
      • Public Health Recommendation issued September 28, 2021 regarding social distancing.
    • Provide direction to staff about the location of the next meeting.

  • Approval of Minutes – Approve minutes of the August 19, 2021 meeting.
  • Notice of Violation Report – Receive and file the summary of notices of violation issued and penalty revenue received during the months of August and September 2021.
  • District Grant and Incentives Program Activity – Receive and file the following grant program related activity:
    • An update on the Old Car Buy Back Program for vehicles retired during the period of August 1, 2021 through September 30, 2021;
    • An update on the Landscape Equipment Electrification Fund (LEEF) Program Year 2 for zero-emission landscape equipment vouchers during the period of November 16, 2020 through September 30, 2021; and
    • Summary of the emission-reduction grant agreements approved by the Air Pollution Control Officer for the period of August 1, 2021 through September 30, 2021 in accordance with Board Resolution Number 09-14.
  • Update on Public Outreach Activities – Receive and file an update on District outreach activities.
  • Discharge of Uncollectible Invoices – Discharge the uncollectible invoices from Fiscal Year 2014-15 through Fiscal Year 2020-21 as listed on the schedule of uncollectible accounts.
  • District Board Meeting Schedule for Year 2022Approve the District Board of Director’s regular meeting schedule for 2022.
  • Execute the second Lease Amendment for the office space located at 260 North San Antonio Road, Suite A, Santa Barbara, CA – Authorize the Chair to sign the second Lease Amendment between Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District and Santa Barbara County for the purposes of reducing the amount of office space leased from the County by 820 square feet to accommodate County General Services Department moving into the east wing of the building.
  • District Record Retention Policies and Procedures – Adopt a Resolution for revisions to the District’s Record Retention Policies and Procedures.
