Amendments to District Rule 210, Fees
General Project Description: Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District (District) will hold a public workshop to discuss amendments to Rule 210, Fees. The rule amendments are intended to recover District costs associated with programs related to permitted stationary sources and for other District activities mandated by state and/or federal regulations. The amendments to Rule 210 include increasing the fee rates for existing services that do not meet an 85% cost-recovery rate, adding new fees for specific tasks and categories of equipment, removing outdated fees that are no longer applicable, and clarifying administrative procedures and language. The project also consists of minor amendments to other affected rules that reference Rule 210.
Document Availability: Copies of the draft rule and staff report have been posted at the District’s website, www.ourair.org/rules-under-development. Hard copies are also available for review at the District offices.
How to Participate:
By Zoom: Members of the public participating via Zoom and wishing to be called on for public comment should click on the “Raise Hand” button on Zoom when public comment is requested. All attendees will remain in listen-only mode unless unmuted by APCD staff to provide public comment. Members of the public will not be able to share their video or computer screen.
