Times are in Pacific Time, and are for the start of the hour for the hourly average reported. For example, the ozone level reported for 10 AM represents the average ozone levels from 10 AM to 11 AM. Levels are reported at ten minutes past the hour. Data are not considered final until verified by the APCD.
Air Quality Advisories
Particulate Matter Readings (PM2.5) & (PM10)
Particulate readings may be elevated at times due to fire smoke. Levels of PM10 higher than 150 micrograms per cubic meter (µg/m3) or levels of PM2.5 higher than 35 µg/m3 are considered unhealthy for sensitive groups.
Ozone
Ozone levels are reported in parts per billion (ppb). Levels of ozone higher than 70 ppb are considered unhealthy for sensitive groups.
